Virtual Studio Manager

The core product of L-S-B Broadcast Technologies is the Virtual Studio Manager (VSM), an IP based, manufacturer-independent, one-stop, overall control system for broadcast applications. The VSM is able to control routers, mixers, multiviewers, video and audio consoles as well as all third party equipment for broadcast operation and thus is a flexible, powerful and client-specific solution for all broadcast challenges. The redundant system running on a VSM server cluster stands out due to the highest level of availability, safety and stability as well as its future-oriented open architecture.

The VSM also provides functionalities such as tally, GPI und tie-line management as well as global labeling for all attached equipment without any further control devices. Together with the configuration software vsmStudio, the VSM makes a variety of hardware and software front-ends available for an unlimited number of users. This means complete TV and radio studios as well as master control rooms can be equipped and managed with one single system. Currently the VSM is at the heart of at least 75 percent of all European broadcast trucks and has proven practical as a reliable partner for comprehensive control functions.
